“You are bidding on a Limited Edition 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. I ordered this car and am the only owner to date. It has never been wrecked
or damaged. My original plan for the car was to track it, therefore, I ordered all Porsche factory components necessary to convert the car to
“Club Sport.” I had all components installed before I took delivery of the car, as well as having the car clear-taped, including the windshield.
After taking delivery, I followed the factory break-in procedure (as opposed to the owner’s manual break-in procedure) and drove the first 600
miles very easy, not exceeding 5,000 RPM. I then increased the RPM by 1,000 RPM per 1,000 miles after 600 miles until I reached 8,000 RPM;
I then drove the car as I desired.
After break-in, I added a Cargraphic Stage 5 exhaust system, which includes sport headers, sport cats, and eliminates heavy mufflers in the
fender wells. This exhaust system feeds through the stock rear muffler that originally comes on the car, which I fitted with black tips. I also
added the Fabspeed Air Intake filter system.
I have all receipts and stock components from the car and left the stock belts intact in addition to the competition harnesses for daily driving use.
I have not weighed the car, but based on the replaced/removed components feel certain the weight was reduced around 100 lbs. The car feels
very light and is very quick.
I took the car to one informal, non-racing Porsche track event in Savannh, GA, and drove some laps with it. I have never had it on the track
again and it has never been raced. I decided it was too nice a car to put on the track and all of the mileage (with the exception of the few laps at
Savannah) are street miles. The stock tires have never been off the car and are in excellent condition showing minimal wear.
Remaining factory warranty.
